‘Survivor: Ghost Island’ Finale Fantasy Results And Final Standings

Survivor: Ghost Island has come and gone, culminating with a historic tie vote at the Final Tribal Council (you read the finale recap here). But we still have one more post to get out before heading off into the Survivor off-season: Our final fantasy results post. And it came down to Maddie making the correct winner pick. Had she not picked Wendell, she would have lost by just half a point. But credit where credit is due. It’s also interesting to point out that the number 1 and 2 picks in the draft were Wendell and Dom, who of course finished in those exact positions.

In my Fantasy Preview post, I made some predictions. Let’s take a look back and see how those turned out.

Team most likely to have all four players make the merge
What I said:
Chris
How it compares to the actual results: Chris only had two players make the merge. Maddie, meanwhile, was the only team of the five that had all four make it through.

Team most likely to have no players make the merge
What I said: City, but only because I forced myself to pick someone. I didn’t think anyone would actually go 0-4.
How it compares to the actual results: I’ll give myself a split on this one. City had two players make the merge. But like I predicted, nobody put up a goose egg here.

Most likely to win the most individual immunities
What I said:
Sebastian
How it compares to the actual results: Sea Bass won exactly 0 individual rewards. Dom was the clubhouse leader with three wins.

Most likely to make it to the end and get zero votes
What I said: Bradley
How it compares to the actual results: Bradley was voted out just before the merge. Laurel became Ghost Island’s “Zero Vote Goat.”

Most likely to be involved in a showmance (male and female)
What I said: Michael and Chelsea (though not necessarily with each other)
How it compares to the actual results: There really was no showmance this season. The closest actually would have been Dom and Wendell. Though Sea Bass and Jenna are currently dating. But that relationship never really showed on screen.

Most confessionals (male and female) (stats taken from Tapa Talk; I did not verify)
What I said: Donathan and Kellyn
How it compares to the actual results: According to Tapa Talk, Dom dominated confessionals, totaling 67. Donathan finished with 32, which tied him with Michael, but put both behind Wendell (39) and Kellyn, who led all the female contestants with 41 confessionals.

Fewest confessionals from those I think will likely make the merge (stats taken from Tapa Talk; I did not verify)
What I said: Angela
How it compares to the actual results: Angela finished with 15 confessionals, which put her at the 5th fewest for those who made the merge. Chelsea (to no one’s surprise, I’m sure) finished with a paltry 4. This was actually the second fewest of any player this season, only outdoing first boot Stephane Gonzalez (2). The other jury members Angela outpaced were Libby, Jenna, and Des, who had 11, 12, and 14 confessionals respectively.

Most likely to smile when they get voted out
What I said: Donathan and Kellyn
How it compares to the actual results: Nailed this one

Most likely to be my favorite player of the season (male and female)
What I said:
Jacob and Kellyn
How it compares to the actual results: Kellyn was spot on. Jacob…not so much. Wendell takes the cake for my favorite male players on the season, though Dom wasn’t far behind.
