The Avengers: Endgame premiere was last night in Los Angeles, which means the first social media reactions have started rolling in. And to absolutely nobody’s surprise, the initial response is over-the-top positive. Take a look below at some of the reactions from those lucky enough to be in attendance (spoiler-free, of course).
I quite liked #AvengersEndgame. Lively, well-written, funny and moves along very briskly considering just how much story there is. I may have even teared up.
The scope of Avengers: Endgame is impossible to put into words. What Fiege & MCU achieved over last 10-years has lead to this gloriously masterful moment in cinema & it’s truly mind-blowing how beautifully paced this storytelling is. Perfectly balanced. As all things should be.

Man #AvengersEndgame kicked my ass. It was an epic conclusion to 11 years of films. It had laughs, incredible action and absolute emotional rollercoaster. It was the series finale for these cast of characters that I had been hoping for. Congrats to all for pulling off the feat.

As you can see, nearly 100% positive, only a few quasi-negative comments mixed in. While I recognize that won’t necessarily continue – I can guarantee Endgame will not have a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score (here’s looking at you, Armond White) – this is still about as good of a start as we could have hoped for.
The review embargo lifts later today, so if you’re inclined to read reviews before heading to the theater yourself, you’ll have your chance in a matter of hours. Just beware potential spoilers. If you’re waiting on my review, I’m going Thursday night and Friday morning, so I’m hoping for it to be out Friday afternoon.
